Local Directory Uninstall
If, at anytime, you decide you do not want any of the software or offers that you have downloaded during this process, you can easily uninstall them via Windows' "Add/Remove Programs" using the following instructions:
Windows Vista and Windows 7
- From the Start Menu, select Control Panel.
- Under Programs click the Uninstall a Program link.
- Select Local Directory and right click then select Uninstall/Change.
- Follow the prompts to finish the uninstallation of the software.
Windows XP
- From the Start Menu, select Control Panel.
- Click the Add or Remove Programs icon.
- Select Local Directory and click on the "Remove" or "Change/Remove" button.
- Follow the prompts to finish the uninstallation of the software.
Windows 95, 98, Me, NT, 2000, and XP in Classic View
- From the Start Menu, select Settings, and then Control Panel
- Double-click the "Add/Remove Programs" icon.
- Select Local Directory and click on the "Remove" or "Change/Remove" button.
- Follow the prompts to finish the uninstallation of the software.
To Temporarily Disable Local Directory:
Internet Explorer:
- Go to the Tools menu
- Click Manage Add-ons
- Choose Local Directory
- Click Disable
Chrome:
- Click the Wrench Icon in the top right hand corner
- Go to Tools
- Choose Extensions
- Uncheck the Enable button beside Local Directory
Mozilla:
- Go to the Tools menu
- Click Add-ons
- Click Disable
Opera:
- Click the Opera button in the top right hand corner
- Choose Extensions
- Click Manage Extensions
- Click Disable
Please Note:
Upon uninstall of the software certain data such as folders, files, registry keys, and cookies, may remain on your machine.
